American progressive rock band Coheed and Cambria performed at the Arvest Bank Theatre at The Midland in Kansas City, Missouri on Tuesday, May 16, 2017.
Coheed and Cambria’s Neverender GAIBSIV tour featured the band performing their hit album Good Apollo, I’m Burning Star IV: From Fear Through The Eyes of Madness in its entirety.
This show started off with a dark stage lit only by the three screens suspended in the back. A calming instrumental song, “Keeping The Blade,” followed by a hauntingly beautiful solo acoustic rendition of “Always and Never” by lead singer Claudio Sanchez.
Up next the band broke right into their heavy hitter “Welcome Home” and had the whole theatre on their feet yelling and singing along. Fans young and old alike were dancing and cheering throughout the entirety of Coheed and Cambria’s energy-filled set.
After finishing playing through the entirety of GAIBSIV, Coheed played a three song encore featuring a few of their hits from their other albums.
Coheed and Cambria entertained fans throughout the entire night and left everyone anxiously awaiting their return to Kansas City.
