Here is a small look into Friday’s events at the 2023 Planet Comicon in Kansas City.

Guests arrive on the event floor at 1pm.
Guests arrived dressed as favorite characters from a myriad of entertainment properties.
Once on the floor, guests were free to head to all sorts of areas. Some went to the numerous vendor booths to check out amazing works of art, buy gifts and collectibles, or to view various items of interest.
Guests could also head to a number of interactive exhibts including VR, retro gaming, cosplay interactions, photo booths.
Guests at Planet Comicon could also attend several various panel discussions featuring a variety of special guests.
William Daniels and Bonnie Bartlett
William and Bonnie together are known for their acting roles in the television classics St. Elsewhere and Boy Meets World.

The HyVee P.E.Z (Planet Entertainment Zone) Stage featured various demonstrations and performances throughout the day.
Below, members of Comedy Club KC hosted a “pop-culture roast” where members went on stage and playfully insulted eachother while in the persona of several different characters. For example, Chuckie (Child’s Play) was pitted against Wednesday Addams (Addams Family/Wednesday), Mario (Super Mario Bros) against Detective Pikachu (Pokemon), Aquaman (DC Comics) against Ariel (The Little Mermaid), and many others.
